We do not have snow every year.

The wicked witch of the east hasn't had a child to eat all this year!

In August 2009, with thanks for Hal Fowler, Le Manoir De St. Marcel staged the first
Le Manoir Stock 1 - music festival.

Although small, performances varied from the recorder, through the blues, jazz, to opera!

Totally unorganised - You make it!

- Bring your instrument this summer!

Thoughts on travel:

Now that SpeedFerries have gone & LD Lines have taken away Norman Arrow, we are struggling to recommend a ferry operator.
We have tried Norfolk Lines. Lovely ships, & cheap fares.
-The problem with them is that Dunkerque is further North, & you have to go through a “rat run” of small roads, & roundabouts to get out of the port.

We would  avoid the Calais route: - Too many strikes & blockades. ESPECIALLY SEA FRANCE! - We have recently returned from the UK, & they were on strike both times we crossed (With P.& O.).

We've experienced long delays on the tunnel: - Too many fires, breakdowns, & strikes possible.

Flying? -     Bergerac is by far your best airport for Le Manoir De St Marcel.

Despite their terrible P.R. Ryan Air offer new aircraft (Shame they're Boeing & not Airbus), into nearby Bergerac, & a very efficient, on time, service.

B.A fly into Bordeaux, again,  strikes permitting.
